Voip Standards

Voip StandardsHow to make a call using the computer on a standard land line without using VoIP software?

I want to make calls using the microphone of the computer and speakers without VoIP software.
I already have a PC connection cable modem to my voice landline
Thank you =)

You can not.

Good luck

u can still use the telephone dialer application

Some cards come with modem drivers audio through the audio device. Others may have a connector for connecting to the AUX input of the soundcard. An alternative is to use a card with his "own microphone and line-out connections and connections to transmit audio or speakers and microphone just connect directly. If the modem has 2 outlets, normally one of them is online and the other phone. In this case, you can connect any standard phone to him and take the call on him, then unplug the computer connection.

Years ago, there was a program called Borland SideKick could do. He is long dead, and since then I've never found anything similar.

FYI: MS-Outlook, Outlook Express can do, but it is not cheap.

So, I fear, Skype is your best option VoIP "Skype Out" costs only $ 3 per month to call any landline in Canada and the United States, in essence, free long distance. And, PC to PC calls are always free.
