Are there any major drawbacks to VoIP services like Vonage, as a delay? When I say "delay", I am referring to the nature of the difficulties encountered when talking on cell phones, causing both people to interrupt and talk over each other.
I am interested in any other disadvantages of this service as well. Thank you!
If you use VoIP and Internet access, depending on your bandwidth, you may find that you lose pieces of conversation you get the echo, you'll have problems cell phone. One of the people I talk to use VoIP at home and cut his conversation when he gets emails, especially long emails. Sometimes it is just broken and the echo, etc. I also talked to others that you could not say they were on a landline.
If a power outage in your area and the Vonage router has no backup battery or power generator, and you have no backup battery or generator power, then you don ' have no telephone service.
