Does a PDA / cell phone can be used for online courses? Can a PDA or cell phone PDA can be used for online courses? In other words I can do my classes online or on my Treo or Motorola Q. HPAC I must do my classes on the go and need something very portable. I know that PDAs and cell phones may have limited ability to process web pages and software. Any Ideas or advice?
No.
Your online class may cross or black or eCollege eCollege or similar, and you can not access these through the palms. They also require extensive reading and printing of the class that you can not do through a palm tree. I suggest you get a laptop soon as possible if you take a 100% online or hybrid online courses.
I'm sure they can, but I would not recommend. I am a full time student and I'm taking online courses, and few sites for these courses require some plug-ins or not to run, it is preferable to use a computer. go for a laptop that has a wireless LAN, that way you can use a WiFi spot and get your homework done, thats what I do. There are several laptops that can do.
