Mx310

Mx310Any way to power on a Canon MX310 by the driver / network?

I have a Canon MX310 multifunction printer set up on a server D-Link DPR-1260 print. In the pilot Canon maintenance tab is an option of turning off the printer drivers. Does anyone know if there is a way to POWER ON the printer over the network so that I do not have to walk to the start? Maybe with some sort of 3rd party driver / app?

I have a Canon MP640 which has both with and support the wireless network. I also tried to get an answer to this question, but after searching through the web and printer manuals I do not think it's possible.

I read something on a Linux driver that was able to do that, but it was a driver yourself and not supported by Canon. For Windows, I do not think there is such a thing. What a pity.
