Moto KRZR LCD does not work?

My LCD Cellular KRZR we work intermittently. I looked and hidden corrosion on connectors, no found. The phone belonged to my gf. Who is a maniac text. The flexible cables just items over time. The flexible cable is my no.1 suspect.
