Mobile Wireless Internet

I travel a lot and you want to be able to access the internet on my laptop just about anywhere. Verizon has a wireless mobile plan, but I'm not sure if this is the best thing there. Other suggestions?

The biggest pro is that Verizon aircard service if you are in an area of broadband, you run faster than DSL. And this area is enormous. But even if you're boonies, you can revert to the standard NationalAccess, which is slightly faster than dial-up. And the price is competitive, given the quality. Nothing compares.
