Microsoft Roundtable

Selected as one of three strategic goals of global development centers, Microsoft, Microsoft Israel R & D Center is home to some of the technologies most exciting and innovative company. Led by industry leaders such as corporate VP and president of the center, Moshe Lichtman, the center is composed of incubations and mature, the activities of the next generation of product development designed for new industries and key growth sectors in the fields of telecommunications, security and online services.

The Centre's vision is to leverage our location in the heart of the high-tech community in Israel to attract the best pool of Israel's technological talents globally acclaimed, inventive, creative imagination and entrepreneurship.

With its inauguration in April 2006, the Microsoft Israel R & D Center has marked a significant expansion of the technological activities of Microsoft in Israel in 1991. Along with his heart in R & D and incubation activities, the Centre also serves as a platform for business and technology cooperation with local authorities, booming high-tech industry and capital risk.

Taking the right people and the right "climate" a little further. We work in a synergistic hybrid reality: first, small start-up team spirit, with laboratory incubations and, secondly, support from Microsoft, the software world and the global technology leader.

Outreach Program Academia

Students of Excellence Program - Microsoft Israel Program for Excellence in partnership with major universities in Israel attracts and supports high-level students. Under the program, students have the opportunity to intern in MS Labs Innovation or a summer internship in Israel or in Redmond, conduct a final draft to Microsoft and to benefit scholarships for their studies.

Courses - Microsoft Israel Recruiting @ Microsoft Labs Israel - We invite students to join Microsoft Israel . As interns, students are the real thing and get the opportunity to revive their careers.

Summer Internship - Microsoft Israel R & D Center offers students the opportunity to gain real experience and exciting to MS during the summer school holidays. Internships are offered in the ISR R & D centers in Haifa and Hertzelia and Microsoft in Redmond USA and research centers.

Joint Research - The R & D center conducts joint research projects with top Israeli universities and research in various fields.

Roundtables and university events - the establishment of a cross-Arena universities to share information and stimulate the potential for collaboration in research and education.

Recent Acquisitions

Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (formerly Kidaro) improves the deployment and management of Virtual PC images on a desktop while offering a seamless experience using a Virtual PC environment independent of the configuration of the local office and operating system .

Adat (Adlabs) team has developed mathematical tools for the identification and targeting groups of customers based on models based on the use and consumption (Behavioral Targeting) - for unlimited amounts of customer data. These analytical tools are used as a marketing tool for progressive matching of advertising and sales.
