Htc Touch White

I took my phone off charge from the USB cable and the screen turned white. The only things I can get to my contacts, messaging and keyboard so I can dial a number, but we still have plenty of time to get there. I tried to reset but it does not work. Any serious recommendations to make in addition to Sprint?

Have you tried a hard reset?
1. With your phone. Take your stylus.
2. Keep your head low Touch Pro.
3. Press and hold the volume buttons and ENTER, then press the RESET button with the stylus to this message
4. To Hard Reset, press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other key to cancel.
5. Then just follow all the instructions on screen to proceed ...
