Can I use my HTC TyTN unlocked phone in South Korea?

South Korea needs special CDMA phones that can be used. I have this HTC TyTN Japan that is open and I've used for GSM. Can I use it in South Korea or do I buy a new one there?

As far as I know, TyTn II (Urs TyTn II?) Is quad-band (GSM), but not compatible CDMA. So I guess u'll have to buy one there.
