Home Phone Providers Ontario

Home Phone Providers OntarioDear fellow citizens - need help for providers of home phone?

I live in Ontario, Canada, and want out of Bell Telephone service. They are very expensive and the customer service is terrible. We can not get cable where we live, we have satellite TV and I think the DSL. I looked in MagicJack and Comwave far. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for telephone operators cheap home? Has anyone actually used Magic Jack?
Much appreciated!

The problem with MagicJack is it depends entirely on having your computer running all the time, otherwise you will not be able to make or take phone calls. To call a phone at home is a bit stretching it.

Comwave is a better option and quite affordable. For $ 10 a month you can get a basic service home phone with unlimited local calls. It should be noted that this is a VoIP service means that calls are routed via your Internet connection to save money, but everyone else it just like a normal home phone.

ViaTalk is strongly recommended another VoIP service.
Edit: Sorry, I made a mistake. ViaTalk does Service Canada. You can always get the outgoing calls, but your number is coming for certain city in the U.S.
For VoIP providers in Canada, see here:

That's what I said about ViaTalk:

For about $ 10.75 per month (on a one-year contract) you can get unlimited calling in Canada and the United States and all the extras (caller ID, call waiting, voice mail) included.

While a limited time promotional offer, will also talk via a second phone line for free with your service $ 10.75/mo. This means that you can have two separate phone calls simultaneously.

As another bonus offer, you also get 60 minutes of free calls for the most popular international destinations, including Australia and the United Kingdom.

I use Acanac VOIP. $ 10 or $ 12 per month for unlimited calling throughout the United States and Canada. Works with your DSL connection.

Disadvantages are that you have to buy ($ 40) What about the configuration of the VoIP router yourself, and pay a year in advance.

If you want to phone home, then stay away from MagicJack. So I do not think you can get a number of Canadian MJ.

I agree that the DOJ has its issues, but if your need is for a service that connects you to
your family and friends, then this could be the one to try, of course, America has only recorded numbers, and calls from Canada to take your Magic would be a long d.
Overall, I used this camera for the last two years. and I'm happy with it. I went to Bell Can. a complaint of price, and they dropped my monthly bill ($ 27.00)
