When you perform a reverse lookup using my home number, I was surprised to see our names, address and a map close to my house! Added to that was placed on the neighbors of our block, the names, heads of households, addresses. How do you obtain this information from the Internet??

These lists use the search public information. Many of them use the whitelist, which is a directory.

In other words, you can get your unlisted number. Many search engines (free) do you have during their next update.

This is not true because our household number is "unlisted" in our local telephone directory, but has shown for an online search. so beautiful theory. Report Abuse

Switch to using just your cell phone or get an unlisted number. It is probably too late for the number you have now to be unlisted from these sites, but you can get a new one and take measures.

A telephone number can be used perfectly legally to reverse your search. Unlikely that you can eliminate it to your satisfaction. And certainly it will all come back.

And what you can get rid of may take time, effort and (possibly) money.

Unfortunately, it can be easier and cheaper to change your phone number.
