Google Android Development

Google Android DevelopmentTrack mobile application development?

Hi folks,

I would like to learn how to develop applications for mobile platforms like the iPhone, and Android WinMo7. Can anyone advise what tools, applications development, and so do I start? So I must register with Apple, Microsoft, Google, etc.? Finally, what would be the approximate start-up costs (licenses, purchase of hardware / software, etc.)?

For the iPhone, you can register and start developing immediately. Download to learn XCode and Objective-C. When you get to the point were you want to release the application you must request a certificate for development. $ 100. Then you can add your applications on your iPhone or iPod touch to test them. With XCode you can only test on the simulator. (You have to develop based on an Intel Mac)

I think that with Google, it is only $ 25, and the submission process is probably much simpler.
