Dvi Splitter

Dvi SplitterCan I connect a DVI splitter to have a dual screen?

I plan to change my video card so I can have two DVI connectors so I can have a dual screen, but I can just buy a DVI Splitter Cable to have a dual screen?

If you want each monitor to have a different image, then a DVI splitter not working. You'll need a video card that supports 2 monitors. If you just want the same image two monitors, so yes a divider works.

There are several reasons to have two monitors showing the same image but it was not his question.

No DVI is strictly a point-to point. You would need a device that actually replicates the image. (Besides, why would you want exactly the same image on both screens anyway?)

Technically, yes, but both monitors would be just the same image.
