I wanted to know if this headset works with PC games listed below:
Counter Strike
Team Fortress 2
Half-Life 2
Left 4 Dead

If not whats a good gaming headset that work with these games it costs about $ 50.00

A headset is a helmet is a helmet. If this does not work, it's not the headphones ... is either the sound card, or output (s) you have plugged into outlets may not be operational.

Or ... the helmet is broken. The only exception I can think of is that if the helmet itself needs a driver installed on the computer.

Any game with a headset microphone jack and a headphone jack (or USB, in some cases) will only work if it appears in the sound control panel. You must configure them there and make sure that the audio is coming in. All headest old sock at BestBuy or Radio Shack or Newegg will work.
