What office phone system should I and how do I update? My two-employee (with an intern at) office has a very old phone system, a feature probably more than we need. We have four lines coming in. A few weeks ago, something strange happened to the phones, making them much the same way as before. Because the system is so old, we have no phone or system manuals and do not know how to fix it. We may need new phones or an entirely new system.
The phone now seems to be a PBX system. The Cabinet and all three phones are Fujitsu. I guess my question is can I just buy a new phone 4 line (nice and cheap) and we with the current cabinet, or do I need a new cabinet (not so cheap)?
Our office will probably be fine with a key, unless the system, while using phones, but I imagine it would involve removing the current cabinet, which also require professional installation (uninstall) services. All ideas are appreciated. We are looking for the most cost effective option. Thank you.
with only 4 lines you have to do very well with the small business line of 4 "system" phones offered by AT & T and several other companies ... The phones are less than $ 200 each ... they have more features than you normally .. the cabnet may be withdrawn or ignored .. but the prizes must be rebuilt ... but this is pretty simple (as long as each shot is the son of at least four pairs going on)
if every shot is a 4 pair son goes, you can very well for yourself ... ReWire
the cabnet, when you remove the lines of CO from the system, you want to connect a line to the blue line station white son, 2 orange white son Station, line 3 Green / White Station son, and line 4 to the son of brown.white station ...
Now at each station, or a telephone jack that you exist, you'll need to add a second shot ... jack 1, the existing (or you can replace it if you wish) will be blue / white is green / red and orange / white is yellow / black ...
Jack has two green / white is green / red and brown / white black yellow goes ...
even if you hire someone to rewire it will probably be cheaper than replacing the system ...
unless you want on-hold music, or having to voicemail site ... I think that is the way forward ..
I'm not completely sure of Fujitsu. If you ask the questions on forums.socalphonepros.com I can ensure you get the answer. Sorry I could not help. Flag
