Android Mobile Operating System

I have a little problem deciding which phone to get. I do not really know what operating system to get. Here is a list of features I will use it mainly for.
1. Internet
2. Scheduling
3. Music
4. E-mail
5. Texting

So who do you think I should get? Leave the reasoning why. I'm barely familiar with Android.

The two operating systems do. If you use Windows at home and you do not have a great sense of adventure, go with Windows. I just received my first Android phone and driving force for me in choosing this phone was because I love technology and the idea of open source and learning a new OS.
